> Dubai Islands

Downtown

Previously known as Palm Deira and Deira Islands, this project by Dubai-based developer Nakheel originally started in 2004, but due to economic difficulties, its construction was postponed until 2022.

The Dubai Islands area is currently under active construction, and Nakheel’s plans for its landscaping and infrastructure are ambitious, which makes the islands an attractive project at the development stage in Dubai.

Attractions

Dubai Islands Marina. There are not many yachts moored here, but this place attracts more with its silence and sunset views. You rarely see crowds of tourists here, so you can spend the evening away from the hum of more popular places. Al Mamzar Beach Park. This green area is located on the opposite side of the bay, in the Al Mamzar area. You can rent a bike or walk along the promenade overlooking Dubai.

Beach holidays

Dubai Islands has several official beaches: Dubai Islands Beach, which stretches along the coast for several kilometers, RV Park (for those who would like to park their vehicles nearby or put up a tent) and Dog beach for dog owners, where their pets can freely play in the sea and swim.
